Please find information regarding Joop’s Valentines Celebration of Fur-Babies and Animal Rescues in a Q&A format. This Contest is also governed by our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

1.        What is the Contest?

Jen&JoopProductions (JJP) are looking to celebrate your fur-babies for Valentines and to get your help in finding qualified animal rescues to donate our shop profits for the months of March, April, May, and June 2026 via a small community contest.

2.        How does it work?

Anyone can nominate an animal rescue. A rescue can only be nominated once. Submit your Fur-Baby and Animal Rescues Valentines Celebration nomination using this form between February 1 and February 13, 2026!  

Newsletter Subscribers will receive a link to vote on the animal rescue of their choice. Newsletter subscribers must be subscribed before February 14, 2026.

Voting will be open from Valentines Day through Saturday, February 21, 2026

The top four (4) rescues with the most votes will be the rescues that we donate our monthly profits to in the name of the fur-baby who nominated the rescue!

3.         Does it cost to enter?

No. Entry is free!

4.         How long is the contest open?

Entry is open from Sunday, February 1, 2006 through End of Day Friday, February 13, 2026.

Newsletter subscriber voting will take place from February 14, 2026 through February 21, 2026.

5.         When will the winners be announced?

Contestant entrants will be emailed the voter results on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

Winners will be displayed with information on our website, in our newsletter and on social media.

6.         Is it just for pets?

Yes! Each entrant must be a pet.

7.         Can people be in the picture?

Yes! If it is a picture of your pet in costume with paw-rents and others, please submit!

8.         How do we enter?

Use the Entry form at the bottom of the contest page. If you have any problems, please email us at JenandJoop@gmail.com.

9.         Can I submit for all of my pets?

Yes! Entry is limited to one entry per pet, not one entry per paw-rent. Submit a contest entry for all of your pets, but the Rescue must be different for each entry.

10.     Can I submit a picture of my pet who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge?

Yes! What a wonderful way to remember them.

11.     What about Humane Societies, local animal shelters, sanctuaries, and other organizations?

These types of organizations can be nominated if their main business mission and funding is rescuing animals and finding them a permanent, safe home or providing one for them.

Organizations that provide community assistance such as feral and stray cat TNR, cat cafes, sanctuary animal farms for former feed animals, animal rescue transportation operations, and more may be nominated.

We recommend selecting registered non-profit organizations with transparent operations easily accessible and verifiable through an online search.

12.     How will you ensure that the animal rescue is a good one?

We recommend selecting registered non-profit organizations with transparent operations easily accessible and verifiable through on online search.

JJP will ensure that it is a legitimate rescue when the submission is made.

We will encourage our subscribers to use best practices in reviewing the rescue nominations when deciding their vote.

13.     Why can’t I chose an animal rescue that another entrant has?

To try to be as fair and equitable as possible with the resources we have and to prevent attempts to skew votes, each entry must be a different rescue than those submitted previously.

 14.     How are the winners selected?

Once the contest closes, Jen&JoopProductions Newsletter Subscribers will receive a link to vote on the animal rescue of their choice. Newsletter subscribers must be subscribed before February 14, 2026 for their vote to count.

15.     Who can vote?

Anyone who is a newsletter subscriber before February 14, 2026 will receive the link to vote via email!

If anyone who is not a subscriber votes, their vote will not be counted.

16.     How many times can I vote?

You can only vote once, but the voting form will not prevent you from voting multiple times.

JJP will take your latest vote submission in the event you vote multiple times. You can change your mind up to the last minute!

17.     What are the prizes?

Everyone who enters will receive a custom in-house created 4x6in notepad with valentines theme and the picture of their fur-baby they entered! Plus a Jen&JoopProductions pen of course!

The top four (4) winners of the subscriber voting will have the fur-baby of the month featured on our Rescues page, our newsletter, and social media along with the animal rescue to whom we will donate our shop profits for the month.

18.     When will I receive my notepad and pen?

JJP will begin production as soon as your nomination is received and posted. We will try to have it in the mail to you within a week of posting your nomination to our website!

 19.     Is there a limit to the number of entrants?

Yes. Due to the size of our operation, the limit of nominations is twenty (20)! We have never reached that many yet but just in case it is needed, we placed the limit.

20.     How much will you donate to the animal rescue?

All of our profits from online sales will be donated to the animal rescue of that month. Our profits have ranged from $40-$100 to date, but increased sales will result in a larger donation! We encourage your shopping for gifts from JJP and recommending our shop to friends, family, and community where possible!

21.     How will I know if I won?

The winners will be notified via email from JenandJoop@gmail.com. We will also post on the contest website.

Please find answers below to the most commonly asked questions regarding our Halloween Costume Contest for Pets!

1.       Does it cost to enter?

No. Entry is free!

2.       How long is it open?

Entry is open from Thursday, October 16, 2025 through Monday, October 27, 2025.

3.       When will the winners be announced?

We hope to have winners announced by Halloween, October 31, 2025.

4.       Is it just for pets?

Yes! This Halloween Costume Contest is just for pets.

5.       Can people be in the picture?

Yes! If it is a picture of your pet in costume with paw-rents and others, please submit!

6.       How do we enter?

7.       Why does the entry form have the option to upload 3 photos?

Submit more than one and we will use the other 2 in a separate online album for the enjoyment of all. Please submit one form per pet.

9.       Can I submit pictures from previous years?

Yes! The picture does not have to be from this year.

11.  How are the winners selected?

Once the contest closes, Jen&JoopProductions Newsletter Subscribers will receive a survey to make one selection of all contestants.

The pet with the highest number of votes will be awarded the first prize and the pet the second highest number of votes will receive the runner-up prize.

12.  What are the prizes?

The First Place Prize will be one JJP eGift Card for $25 for our Shop plus one custom large-sized tote with a stylized picture of your pet on the front! See an example here. The Runner-Up Prize will be one Custom Notecard Pack of your pet! Watch a video on how they are made here.

13.  What if there is a tie?

Ties will be honored and all will receive the stated prizes!

14.  How will I know if I won?

The winner will be notified via email from JenandJoop@gmail.com. We will also request your confirmation of the photo to use for the Jumbo Tote Bag (example), the effect to use on the photo for Jumbo Tote Bag, and the timing and delivery of the eGift Card and the Jumbo Tote Bag.

The runner-up will be contacted via email from JenandJoop@gmail.com. We will confirm the photo to use for the Notecard Pack, the effect to use, and the timing and delivery of the notecard pack.

The Winner and Runner-Up will be posted on the Halloween Contest Page of JenandJoop.com and featured in the Jen&JoopProductions November newsletter.
