Hand-painted pet portraits are one-of-a-kind gifts!

Lynn gives back by painting cats and kittens rescued by Bay Area Cats, and donating the paintings to those who adopt. So far Lynn has donated over 10 paintings of cats that have been adopted! Thank you Lynn for allowing us to showcase your talent and compassion for the benefit of the JJP community.

Visit Lynn’s Etsy Shop and use the code SAVETEN to receive $10 off your purchase. Offer valid through June 30, 2026!

Your business helps Lynn support her family as the sole income earner, give back to the community, and provide you with a one-of-a-kind portrait of your fur-friend.

About Her Paintings

Lynn loves painting all the furry paws, wagging tails and pink tongues of cats and dogs. Her favorite part of each painting is to add the sparkle in the eyes that she saves for last.

Lynn has an etching press on which she adds a hand-embossed paw print border to the watercolor paper. Then she draws the pet with an ink pen and finally paints the pet in watercolor paints.

About Lynn

Lynn is married to an air force Vietnam veteran, is a mom of 2 college daughters and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area in California.

Lynn has been drawing animals since she was 3 years old growing up on her family's farm in Iowa with 5 to 15 cats at all times, plus dogs, rabbits, sheep, horses, goats, a pig, a cow, and of course chickens! So she decided to study fine art at Iowa State University where she received her degree.
